Combining the power of Python and Tektronix oscilloscopes makes complex testing procedures more efficient, accurate and customizable. This short video shows how to use tm_devices, the Tektronix open source Python driver package, to connect to a 5 Series MSO Oscilloscope from a PC. Once connected, it’s easy to do things like taking measurements or downloading waveform data. VSCode and tm_devices are installed on the PC. I am assuming that Oscilloscopes are more sensitive and advanced than EKG machines, yet I can not detect whatever EKG machines are detecting, or maybe I couldn't figure it out. You are more experienced than I am, can you please tell out how to do it and what I am doing wrong?
