I live in Far North Queensland (lots a crocs) and have heard Bob Katter speak when he's not 'putting on a show'. Don't be fooled he's actually a well spoken intelligent individual. He just chooses the button pushing, deliberately inflammatory, slightly unhinged angle because it keeps him in the papers and there's no such thing as bad press. Just look at Trump !

Katter is alright. You may not agree with some or all of his views, but he is looking out for his constituents in north Queensland. It is a different world up there, which neither Brisbane or Canberra concern themselves with.
