The Supreme Court’s recent decision in favor of same sex marriage has been
controversial. One of the most common arguments you hear from those who oppose it is, “How do I explain this to my kids?” Some people wonder if children are sophisticated enough to wrap their heads around something like this, so we went out on the street to ask kids what they think and know about same sex marriage.

Kids are awesome. They break serious and long standing social issues down to a level that is universal to understand. The answer is kids are better than adults at knowing right from no one is perfect, no one is completely innocent, everyone makes mistakes, every one gets scared of things they don't know or understand. To dislike someone because of their adult serial orientation or skin colour is actually a learnt behavior we learn as we grow up and are exposed to new ideas.
