Ngl I really really liked the custard filling. I think it was either vanilla or egg lol I don’t remember, it was truly delicious tho. The traditional red bean paste filling was also good (but kinda different from what I’m used to)

I stayed around Asakusa when I visited Japan in 2017. There was a stall that served taiyaki shaped like Magikarp. It was really good.

There's an ice cream place that has these! You can either get your ice cream with them or just get them filled with a few different things
I usually go for the taro, custard, and cheese
I have to be in the mood for the red bean paste but I adore them <3<3

When I was in Kyoto earlier this year, I found a Taiyaki that was ham and cheese which was absolutely delightful!
