NO, what we have been working on for a long time in AE is annoying to double click and instead of going to the effect control, it goes to that new panel.

"NO ONE" is talking about? 🤔man, I even saw content in the vein of "motion designer starts crying after noticing this new AE feature!!11!", and I usually dont find reaction videos in my YT feed...

besides, the long awaited shape functionality is dope, but including all the regular transform properties, that everyone and their grandma knows the shortcuts to, is a total waste of screen real estate. especially when placing it on top of the panel. same with character and paragraph properties, that you even have to unfold with an additional click just to get the same options the dedicated (and already existing) panels offer.
