(Edit:) Gotta love all you Americans who are so impatient that they can't wait like an hour or two when the "injury" isn't bad. If its a sever injury/life threatening you're obviously gonna get in before anyone else 😑😑 they aren't gonna make you wait an hour and a half if your arms ripped off and spewing ketchup everywhere or obviously in extreme amounts of pain. It hurts that I was excited for him that he was only charged 200$, I didn't go to the hospital for neumonia for 2 weeks bc I knew I would get charged so much for it. I only went bc my mom forced me to go after I started to get worse. And to top it off I was told I was like a week or 2 from literally dying if I didn't come in when I did.

When I stopped being insured by my parents I wasn't insured at all for a few months because I was stupid and lazy. I help my sister move and smashed my pinky finger in the car door (the door was completely shut with my finger inside) so I had to go to the ER and I had to pay everything myself...well it was only 70€ and I was able to get insured afterwards and get my money back. Sometimes it's nice to life in Germany.
