Possibly the most dangerous part is the stairs leading to the aircraft

imagine how vetted the pilots are. They hold the presidents life in their hands

The process to move all these vehicles and equipment is huge. Whenever you see the President travel overseas, that footprint is even bigger. When the media uses the $200k operating cost per hour for AF1, it’s not even close to the cost of movement. Good video overall. Great points covered on prep, movement and execution.

Did anyone else notice that the section about the president's plane begins atexactly 7:47, which is actually the model of the aircraft - a Boeing 747(-200B)?

Fun fact, in any presidential motorcade, there'll be 2 more presidential limousines to act as decoys, in addition to the one the president rides in.

My Air Force One Royal 🇺🇸 Forever 24/7

Air Force One does NOT refer to the call sign of any fixed wing aircraft that flies the President. It only refers to the call sign of an Air Force aircraft flying the President. If the President was flying on an Army aircraft the call sign would be Army One, a Marine aircraft call sign would be Marine One, a Navy aircraft call sign would be Navy One, a Coast Guard aircraft call sign would be Coast Guard One. If the President was flying on a non-military aircraft the call sign would be Executive One.

When traveling is a time to enjoy personal time, the right to privacy is very much needed. The president’s safety is an issue, so it is hard to say whether the president can have the right to privacy

I am sure the current one will go somewhere in a museum too. Since the next one will be here around ~2025

President, the most important figure in the world inside USA.

Air Force One is for those aircraft flown by the Air Force that the President Travels on. Marine One is Marine aircraft and there has been a Navy One. To date there has been no Army One as of yet.

Regardless of how you feel about former, current, and future presidents, I think it was a good idea to keep the classic AF1 design for the next generation 747s due to be delivered in a few years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That sky blue and white paint scheme with that specific serif font is simply iconic. Likely one of, if not the most, recognizable planes in the world, why change it?

The call sign Air Force One is the designation for any US Air Force aircraft carrying the President whether its a fixed wing or rotary aircraft. The same is true for any US Navy aircraft it is Navy One, for US Marine Corps its Marine One, for any US Army its Army One. If the President is on board a civillian aircraft the official designation is Executive One. When Bush 43 flew onto the USS Abraham Lincoln he was inside Navy One. When the President is not onboard the plane "Air Force One" it uses the call sign SAM 28000 or SAM 29000. SAM is the abreviation for Special Air Mission.
I love your videos, just make sure that the info your putting out is accurate.

They could just ride around the block and he’d think he was in another country

Seems like YouTube is 23% presidential motorcade and air force one videos.

I seen in a movie once how someone put explosives under a manhole cover to take out the motorcade. wonder if they check for that along the entire route. that would be quite difficult to do I imagine.

How many sets of presidential land and air vehicle convoys does the secret Service have for trips where the president has to make stops at multiple countries in three days?

I always notice the same vehicles waiting at the footsteps of the plane stairs before the Air Force One aircraft departs and after it lands at the next country/stop?

..

How many c-17s are required to carry all the residential vehicles needed for the convoy?

...

Where do the presidential convoy vehicles park after it drops off the president?
