I really love how you always get straight to the point and don’t talk like 30 minutes for nothing

Me: Never committed a crime in my life
Also me: I have a cosmetology license. I could be a prison barber!

I didn’t know there was a difference between jail and prison until I watched Christina Randall..
What I learned is jail is where you’re held while awaiting sentencing, prison is where you go after sentencing to do the main chunk of your time 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think jail is way worse!! There are so many emotions in jail!! Your life is hanging in the balance! Your awaiting your sentence and not knowing what is going to happen! In prison you’ve excepted your fate and are settled in to where you will be for the rest of your sentence. You are awaiting to get all your books together for commissary and your phone calls in jail.. in prison your able to establish all of that and start getting your mail from family and what not!

Your 100% right. Jail has less weed, no contact visits, only 20min visits, no movement. Oh and 1 soup in jail= 1.00$ 1 soup in prison= .25cent.

I just randomly found your channel. You are a special woman. Very precious. I’m glad to see that you’re far on the other side of darkness. You deserve that.

When I got sentenced to prison in 2009 I couldn't wait to leave for prison. At least in prison you could go out side, sign up for different programs, etc

We had a cosmetology class. So the girls that worked in the salon we're in the process of getting their actual license. They did perms, colored hair, straightened hair, cut, styled whatever. It was nice & you know some of the girls really used it for their advantage when they got out, which was great & gave their life more meaning & reason not to go back.

i swear the "yard" in jail was a joke!! i didn't know they were the same everywhere though, cement walls with a little opening near the ceiling smh so sad.

I think your old videos are adorable. In my opinion, there is nothing embarassing about how genuine you are and how you started with so little and now you're at such a high level.

It baffles me how much jails and prisons are like psychiatric hospitals. Your descriptions (specifically the jail) remind me so much of the times I have been in psychiatric hospitals. I struggle with depression (I have bipolar disorder, anxiety issues, and borderline personality disorder) and I have never ever thought of harming anyone. I have been in psych hospitals in three different countries (where I live, where my parents live, and where my sister lives). They are all the same. And even though you don't have "charges" or a "sentence", you never know how long you'll be there and if you did something they didn't like, they would decide you were not ready to go yet (i didn't shampoo my hair one day because they made us wash our hair with cheap ass shampoo that ruins it and I got into trouble because I was uncooperative with treatment.). My stays have varied from 1 month to one year. They treat you like a piece of garbage. There needs to be more compassion everywhere. In one video you stated that saying you were suicidal will put you in a secluded room, same in a psychiatric hospital: you get the "quiet room", a padded room where you are not allowed to even have a book or talk to anyone. If you get upset because they don't let you go to the bathroom, they bring huge ass guards to give you a shot to knock you out. I was never aggressive and I still got the treatment. The cement cage description... that hit home a little too hard. In one hospital we had that "yard" in others we had nothing. We just had our room are were not allowed to talk to anybody.

I’m thankful for channels like these that provide cautionary tales, I could have easily been a statistic. Just another brown man from LA in jail but hearing these stories kept me off of that life. I’m also a wimp haha

So interesting to watch! Addiction runs in my family, so I’ve had a couple close family members in jail/prison. They never really liked talking about it, so it’s really interesting to know more!
