It doesn't take a genius or 33 years behind bars to know that gang violence is senseless.

I’m 31 and this dude has been locked up longer than I have been alive.

Seeing this makes me realize how grateful I am for my freedom. 💯

The man said it in one word, "STRUCTURE". It's lacking in so many ways in so many lives. With a little bit of structure and love so much can be built. Stay safe and stay strong!

Worked as a c.o in my younger years for a decade. The vice lords and the bloods was the most respectful gangs in that particular system I was amazed at the level of intelligence to keep the peace with all the co’s. Seen a dude ten years later and had him over for dinner. It’s def all in how you carry yourself and treat others. I never went looking for a prob but did my job.. in turn I was well respected.

Sad because their are a lot of good hearted people in prison who made dumb choices when they were young. I think its beautiful that this brother can still smile after 32 years in prison. God bless him and keep him safe!

The younger generation needs this type of influence. There out here taking each other out. It don't matter who it is and nobody is off limit.

It’s sad to see a man so well articulate himself in such a good way, and you know that this man could have been so much more in his life. This man didn’t even have a chance when he was 16, that life was already chosen for him unfortunately. Where are you come from determines in most of the cases and I repeat in most of the cases where you’re going to end up which is a sad reflection on today’s society. Peace and love from Ireland 🇮🇪
