Ancient India was rich in everything.that's why Alexander the great wanted to conquer and rule ancient India. But he couldn't because it was too big.

India is the most fascinating place on planet earth. It was the centre of trade, learning, knowledge, philosophy, and the home of some of the most beautiful women on earth. You mention the herbs and spices in the video. I think that Indian cuisine is the greatest and can fully understand how one could get addicted to it. I certainly am! ! Great video, I look forward to seeing more.

To be clear, Indian women are also darker and medium brown as well...would be nice to see accurate representation when discussing such an ethnically diverse country

Women didn't wear blouse in India until the British. Surgery was invented in India by Sushruta who practiced Ayurveda, way before the West.

India is a world in itself hard to describe in one video. We stopped explaining & started embracing it back into our lives with modern twists ❤️

There is a bit mistake between saari and mekhela. Mekhela sador is not one single piece of cloth, rather two pieces worn primarily in North East Assam. The single piece length cloth is called Saari. But it is quite similar, looks similar. Though we can differentiate between the clothes, its really appreciable that someone outside the country is talking about it! ❤

I don't think henna was introduced to India by Mughals. Muslims got henna from India.

I see soo many weird comments here. It's seriously annoying. I don't plan to glorify India too much in any way. Yes we have our fair share of problems as we are still developing. There are common misconceptions and I will explain them
1) we don't smell! Indians are genetically modified to have smell armpits, (it's in the genes.. can't really do anything) but this dosent mean we don't bath or put something to take care of it. No one smells in india unless they are not financially stable to afford hygiene.

2) most homes have toilets now. When I go to my village I don't have to worry at all beacuse there are proper toilets, bathrooms etc. In medieval times Europe, people used to throw their excrements on the streets. The cities were a total mess ( search it up). Atleast in india the defectaion were done in fields where tha fecal matter slowly disintegrated to form manure. I know this dosent mean we were any better. But atleast we didn't do it in the city streets !!!!
More for later

I don't know much about my family history but my grandmother was from India and she wore some of the fashion seen in this video! There was a wedding picture in her house of her on her wedding day (I forget if it was her first or second wedding) but she was an absolute stunner!!

Just wish there was some more diversity in the shades of the women shown on the video.
