This tube is used for lip stain so thats why the tube is small and pick up less gloss.

i love those applicators for clear glosses bc after u put ur clear gloss over ur lip color u can wipe it off of the applicator super easily to keep ur clear gloss perfectly clear

I have Korean lip stains that use a silicone applicator. You’re right in that it’s similar to a makeup spatula. It applies the product evenly to that the lip stain is even. It might work better on a thin watery formula vs your lip gloss formula.
