I agree that the naming scheme is ridiculous, but I can use one of these at home. I want to add more cameras on one side of the house where I've only pulled two Ethernet cables. One goes to a WAP that I don't want to share bandwidth on, but I can take the cable going to the existing camera and turn it into seven devices instead of killing myself pulling new cables through the attic.

Seriously cool!!! I can use that in my garage to power more cameras and power it from the other switch already present w/o having to pay for the wall wart!!! Neat!

I was on the fence but that magnetic mount won me over. My current switch sits on the floor and it really bothers me. I'm also glad it's an actual 7 switch poe not 6 in and 1 out

that rear uplink is nice!!!! I modded a back port into 2 of my 16 lite PoE switches. Makes them way better for desktop use.

For those single runs and you need more ports with PoE. I have the 5 port one in my attic. Cut a line to a security camera, powered the switch, the existing camera, a second camera and AP.

I hot glued a magnet to my travel router a couple years ago. Best thing I ever did so I also did it to my second travel router. This was all due to one location where I would pull out my hotspot and slap the travel router to a metal pole where I was, it covered the area pretty well for the farmers market. Ran it and the hotspot off a seven amp hour battery all day. I also stuck a bit of metal to a power bank to hold the hotspot on. My other travel router I use for sound mixing and it works very nice to stick to the side of a speaker until the band got different speakers with plastic handles.

I already have one in my trailer for my security cameras, it's powering 6 cameras and u6 mesh. POE input for power. Working good but with power warning since it doesn't know how much power injector can provide.

They need mounting options for the usual small business network room. Which is a slab of plywood on the wall by the breaker box if you are lucky.

I have a Flex Mini and a POE injector hidden behind my wall-mounted kitchen TV. If this switch fits in this tight spot, it will be perfect!

Should of been called something like USW-8-POE-60W etc. Can be handy in situations where the flex mini is not enough ports like in lounges.or even simple home office.
