They are MASSIVE bloody onions Tony! Love the blueberries - I've never been able to grow them very well here in our subtropical climate but I keep trying. I can't believe you got so many spuds out of that bucket... Well done mate!

What amazes me is how there is enough room in the bucket for all those potatoes - plus the roots - plus all of the original soil! Great harvest all round and exciting news about your fruit plot. Are you doing any apple pr pear trees?

What a fantastic pot of potatoes. The cabbages were almost as big as you were, LOL. I think the fruit allotment is a grand idea. I think if I was to grow anything else on that plot, it would be herbs for cooking as it is close to your home. On the corn, if you pull an ear off, and just cut the hard part on the bottom and a little on the top of the ear, leave the husk on, you can put in the microwave for 4-5 minutes to cook, then remove the husk and silks with a pit holder, as it will be extreamly hot, the corn retains all the vitamins and is really sweet. I never boil my corn. The only alternative is to grill it. That was a great harvest. I will go and have a look at drying the beans. The runner beans, if you shell and dry, would the taste okay in a soup? God Bless you, Tina and the children. Hope you guys get over your colds soon.

How awesome. And already it is becoming neat and tidy. The corn came out wonderful. And now i am going to have to go back to find how you trellised up your runner beans. I am working on trellising this winter for next summers growth.

Are those Kelsae onions or Bedfordshire champion? Those enormous cabbages reminded me of a childhood episode of Crackerjack!! Fabulous!

Nice update mate. You must be well chuffed with the spuds, cabbages and onions.
Well done on the work so far on the new plot. Do you plan on leaving it all open or will you build a fruit cage somewhere in the future?
Off to check out the new website now😄

great crop Tony. I had a look at the link and it is for Charlotte first earlies... they're the reddest, largest and latest Charlottes I've ever seen dude. unless they're a rooster variety and ive totally misunderstood the reason for the link. lol.

Hi Tony, Great channel, I am in year 2 of my allotment and I am learning every day, your a great inspiration and I have told everyone about you. Great Veg harvest, your cabbages leave me speechless. 50% of my onions bolted.. the Japanese ones that I planted in the Autumn. What was your sets called. :)

Funny I am trying to catch up on digging my raised beds as I did not come up for 18 months due to Covid.
I got to a Doc and decided I would dig out this one's root, well I got
down to three feet and had no choice but to pull it nowhere for the soil
to go.
Anyway I pulled and pulled eventually it came and I could not believe it at the very end of the root was an Australian flag???

Hi Tony, Please accept my warm wishes for the new beginning. Also it is nice to see you working in your new allotment.Explain me the reason that you always select raised beds. please make a video of preparation of soil for the new beds. do you buy soils for the raised beds?your soil looks rich and nourishes. Do add only compost?
