Nice Garlic Tony i did some of them Solent Wight garlic and they didn't turn out to bad, They might of been much better if i had left them a bit longer, And like yourself i leave the leafs on till they dry up before i store them, With Regards Mark

A grand crop you have there. The Solent White also stores well. Mine lasted until March 👍🏻

Nice harvest! I'm still about three or four weeks from harvesting my garlic here in Canada 🇨🇦. We mostly grow fall planted hard neck varieties here. Plant the best and eat the rest!

Make hoops from plastic water pipes and use a wide fleece cover on it over the garlic. The rust spores get stopped by the fleece but you want a thick quality fleece for the job.

Hello.
Thank you very much for this detailed video. I found it very useful.
My problem is with my spring onions. Something strange has happened on its leaves for the last week. Once, the shapes of the leaves changed.
Then many of them had their roots broken.
What do you recommend I can get from urgently.
Thank you in advance.

I've learned that garlic keeps better if they are just dried in the but this is what I've learned from my italian relatives....

Great garlic harvest. I hope to start growing garlic this fall, once they are dried and the green cut off, what is the best way to store them for the winter?

How is it that your front row is yellow and ready to harvest and your other rows appear to be green?
