This is a simple “Gang Saw”. Not generally used in sawmills anymore as they do not optimize the value of the log ( grain orientation, minimal wane, etc.)

Don't know what or where this is at. However, there is a computer controlled saw where the log is scared using lasers and the optimal amount of boards are cut. 2×4, 4×4, what ever gives you the most yield.
