The Spongebob Imagination Theory

While some people think that when Spongebob got a box in the episode 'idiot box' all the sounds squidward was hearing were real, i believe there's more to the story and that squidward might actually have a big mental issue.

When I saw the title my mind merged your name and title and I read it as "The Spongebob Impregnation Theory"

From the examples you gave it sounds like he's secretly obsessed with whatever Spongebob's doing at the time, to the point where he gives himself excuses to visit whenever he's actually left alone.

The fact that Squidward has some sort of depression too and being stalked by spongebob makes sense that he could also develop other issues. He lives in constant fear of something happening

Fun fact: The rainbow Spongebob makes when he says "Imagination" is upside-down

What if squid is still stuck in the box and the SpongeBob show from there on is just his mind

I got a theory

This is my Mr. Krabs theory.

I see a lot of people say Mr. Krabs is evil but, I don't think he is. I mean, he has done his fair share of bad things but he has also done some good things. In "Selling Out" he gives all of his money away to get the Krusty Krab and his crew back, that feels very out of character for someone who is ruthless for his money. In "Bossy Boots", Mr. Krabs cannot fire Pearl because He just cannot say no to her, even though he is losing money. In "Pickles", He tries to help Spongebob, and even though it started just to help him work, he really seems to show compassion.

I think Mr. Krabs is not greedy, it is a mental disorder. As shown in "Friend or Foe", Mr. Krabs's only friend growing up was Plankton. I think after Plankton left Krabs, Mr. Krabs only friend was the money he made. From that point forward, he made himself think that the money was his friend. I mean, he had his navy buddies, but he barely got to see them after his time in the navy. Him thinking his money is his friends makes sense of everything. He cries when he loses money because he thinks he is losing another friend, and he does not want to lose another friend. he gets more money because he wants more friends. He treats his money well, because he is trying to treat them as a friend. I think him dating Mrs. Puff is showing him that he can make real friendship and it is breaking through his "Greed" with his money. I hope if they do finish Spongebob, one of the final episodes will be Mr. Krabs getting over this "Greed" and making real friends and relationships.

I think Mr. Krabs tried to stop his "Greed" by going to the navy. I think it worked because you never see him obsessed with money in the navy flashbacks. But, I think when he quit the navy he realized that he would probably never see his navy friends again, that is why in "The Krusty Krab Training Video" it says he went into a depression after the war. And after that he slowly started reverting back to his "Greed".

That is my Theory.

My theory is that It is also applied to SB-129, because it is basically self-explanatory.

The fact that it's in his head is logic. spongebob told him that he was rockclimbing, squidward hears rock climbing sounds

I think every episode AFTER squidiot box was all in the Squid's head

Why didn't they just buy a box instead of buying a tv and throwing the tv away ?

with all said, i think we can agree that newer episodes are just sucks and the way they 'recycled' the older ones make it even worse

Should have mentioned "Squidward in Clarinet land" showing squidward being crazy

Maybe Squidward took the box after it was thrown out because he was still in it with him back home. And then he stored it in his attic and he would go up there when he’s away from SpongeBob, away from Patrick in his his own house he goes up in the attic gets in the box and IMAGINES.

The box is alot bigger on the inside. That's the parabox

There's a lesson here: a TV broadcasts others imagination for you to see, but also gives you limited control and stunts your imagination, but when you use your own imagination anything can happen, and the more you use it, the more imaginative you become.

why there is no any theory for the beginning of gary because there's 3 (or more I don't know about it) time line for gary beginning story and the last one is in the movie (Sponge on the Run) and in some about above season 6 and under season 11

The funny thing is squid actually does seek professional help. He talks about his therapist every so once in a while and we see him actually talk to one.

I found the episode “Dying for Pie” to be wholesome, we have never seen squidward’s true self in his mind

I think if a theory has to ignore an entire episode ( even if its bad ) that disproves it then its not that good
