I’m from the UK and my first place I’d like to visit in the USA is Des Moines.
To me it looks beautiful. If I were to visit I’d never want to leave. ❤️

You know what else make Des Moines Iowa a great place? I LIVE THERE! HA!!!
All jokes aside, Iowa is truly a wonderful state, it is very peaceful, and also has the world's largest truckstop in the world too!
Great list by the way! Sums up pretty much all (if not all) the great places in the Des Moines area!

They were right about putting our capital number one on this page.the most beautiful capital in the USA .and every twenty years when the scaffolding goes up you understand how important it is and what it takes to keep a 140 building in the beautiful shape its been preserved in.

Just a comment as I am from Des Moines. You started out with the Blank Park Zoo and said it's in the heart of downtown DM. It is NOT. It is south of downtown about 6 miles or so. You take SW 9th all the way south to the Zoo. In the scheme of things, I guess it's no big deal, but I do like accuracy. Otherwise, I enjoyed the tour and you did a great job. Thanks.

Wonderful video, and very informative. However I must point out something. A couple of times the sculptures in the Pappajohn are referred to as by local artists. Actually they are by many world renown artists of international acclaim. Great video though.
