This was so helpful! Just wanted to clarify, my textbook says that genomic libraries cannot be used for gene therapy or recombinant proteins, but expression libraries can. (1:06:20)

Thank you as always for these videos!! I have one question and it is on the step 6-7 of DNA replication. The Okazaki fragments are removed and replaced by DNA polymerase I, so what does the DNA ligase do exactly for the linking of adjacent Okazaki fragments? If they were replace by Polymerase I wouldn't they already be gone? Or are the Okazaki fragments still there but now instead of RNA are DNA fragments which is why the DNA ligase comes in to bind the DNA Okazaki fragments? Thank you again
