Once again Lyle such great information and reminders to us all. Been having great success with your hollowing rig I purchased from you few years ago, although the laser at times acts a little finicky . The red dot wants to not be so bright sometimes, it’s not the batteries I always check those and I don’t have lots of vibration, but I get to maintain it’s brighter beam eventually. Think it’s those threads there so fine, really have to be careful but other than that I’ve been extremely pleased with entire unit!... also love your bowl gauge with simple beechwood handle. It’s one of my go too gauges!!... thanks for your videos.

I purchased one of these, and your bowl gouge, about two months ago. Absolutely the best turning tools I have ever seen, used, borrowed, or heard of! I use these two and a skew for almost everything! The shape of the flute makes it cut so much better than any other spindle gouge available. I have dedicated a grinding jig for it, so I can keep it perfectly sharp. Even when I grind other tools exactly the same, they don't cut as well. Only downside for me is at 5/8", it's a little large for my ornaments and birdhouses. When will you have a smaller version? Maybe 5/16 or 3/8"?
