Clever, but thats just one profile you can make it cut any shape you want like a shaper blade on a molding shaper.
Its funny no one has made a profile set of lathe tools like this as a set you can buy. And im going to bet they would sell
I could even see this in a carbide insert set you just change the carbide cutter or rotate it. Say like a turret cutter with a lock and positive stops at 10dgr angles.
So you can dile a shape.

Is anyone making a knurling tool for wood lathes that fits onto a toolrest?
