Well, I've owned my 2022 Toyota Tundra Limited TRD Offroad Double Cab 6.5' bed for a year now. I bought my 22 Tundra when it was pretty new, and there were some initial reports of various bugs and issues - fortunately I haven't been affected by any of them. My 2022 Toyota Tundra has been nothing but smooth sailing so far

You have the best looking new Tundra that I've seen by far.

Mike: “no my overland rig”
Rig = more built than 99% of rigs out there

Can you please do a video, "2 YEARS OWNERSHIP"? Wondering how much you still like it

I know im late to the party and I did not any comments.
If you did not calculate the mpg with 37's on your truck, then you are more likely getting 17.5 mpg. Im with you 100% on the daily driving of this truck! Love it!
You can now get this same truck in a crewmax with 6.5 bed. Daily family driver and work horse!

Just found your YouTube channel. I almost bought a Overland Storyteller Beast Mode camper van. But thought twice, or ten times and changed my mind because they want more than 200k for a van and after watching your videos, I’ve decided to get a tundra off road

Once you drive a crew cab with 6.5ft for a little time its really no different especially if your using small parking areas very little of the time. Will make getting the kiddos and gear in and out of the backseat much easier.

I agree on the tailgate button. I use it all the time! The only downside is not having one on the passenger side 🙁

You are officially an old man with that hook setup on the broom!! I was told that when I got a cap and added the hooks! 🙂Welcome to middle age !! I have a cap and have two of those hooks one homemade and one is the hand grip clamp style that I can use for garbage pick up at camp. They are great and save your knees from climbing in after something. The next thing you will do is add rope loops to help pull things even easier. 🙂. The nice tour I am looking at an upgrade to a Toyota which would be my first Toyota truck. Glad to see you are still liking yours.

Just got his flexfit multicam hat looks amazing. Also I ordered a blue alpha edc hybrid belt and is the only belt I wear anymore, already wore vertx pants, flannels and bags...this guy is the best. Thanks for the recommendations buddy keep up the good work

Might disagree but I would say look at amp steps. Being that it’s your daily and the primary concern is making it easier to get into they both aesthetically look good and make the biggest difference in getting in easier being they drop down so far and then tuck back up when you shut the door

Mike do tundra vs sequioa vs tacoma! I know the suv is a little older, but still I'm personally curious. Personally I would like to own one of each plus a 4runner.

Bro I came up with the same idea!!! the hook screwed into the end of a broomstick…
I use it all the time cuz my Tacoma has a camper shell. I call it the “genius hook”.
Was like $5 and a life saver
(And my name is Phillip too!!) lol

So just need some clarification on this. You did not say 60 mpg right? lol. Both times it was obscure and the CC said 60 lol. You said 16 right :)

Watching as my Tundra is back at Toyota. 6 recalls and lots of check engine lights 😅

What's your potential family vehicle if you get rid of the Sequoia? The new Grand Highlander? Looks more your style than the new Sequoia.
