The passive cooling case ameridroid offers is definitely of better quality. It also cools the device really well depending on your environment. Although I understand this is in between the price ranges of the ameridroid one and the hard kernel one so I guess it is hard to beat. All's I know is that gold case is bangin xD

At the price point of xu4 plus case and emmc and other peripherals, i'd probably opt for an x86 windows based board for emulation and media center

Odroid isn't really taking off as I thought it would so far in 2018, it is only March, we will have to see. Not a bad case, but this is how the Pi began with cases and look at it now!
