I would love to see you mess with Batocera on this one ETA.

Please, can you include power benchmarking, like idle and full load system power draw please? Maybe separate gpu and cpu stress test. Thanks!

I want two of these for a low power Proxmox/ESXI build!

I'm always on the lookout for a good small x86 router, and this guy's on my radar. Could you tryt and install OpenWRT on this SBC, name the ODROID H4+ since it's got the two 2.5 GB Ethernet ports? Great video as always.

you say $99, but it's actually 236, 81€ (= $257, 83 USD) here in germany, with power supply 254, 22€. That's totally over priced.

We're really pushing the definition of SBC here I think. This is basically a mini-motherboard.

Watching this in 4k from a H3+(with pl4 tweaks). Definitely a good device.

Hey ETAP, is the reason you test with OG Skyrim because it's less demanding than SE? I'd actually like to see how these low end systems handle SE. Same goes for PC emulation on phones.

Not bad and Odroid does have stockists in the EU and UK. But when I start to add up the price of the necessities, there is less value in this than I want and expect. Also, don't forget that Odroid has some of the shortest warranty periods on the planet.

Thanks for covering something that's affordable again.

Great first look! How would this perform as a NextCloud server? Looking to build an SBC NextCloud at home, and starting the research now.

I would love to see a cheap board like this that had SAS support it would be great for making a nas with cheap server drives

I'm surprised they came out with a replacement to the H3+ so damn fast already.

Would have been helpful to post a direct performance comparison vs the H3+ N6005

Seems like a decent Nas board. They even have several cases made for multiple drives. Might pick one up for a NAS.

Do the DisplayPort ports on that thing support 4k 120Hz output? I obviously wouldn't expect to play games at that, but 120Hz makes a huge difference even for things like scrolling and moving windows and playing videos at 24hz without weird 3:2 pulldown.

Do a benchmark test vs the last raspberry pi

I would like to see a shoot-out between the Intel N97 CPU vs the Pi5. I'm undecided as to whether I should buy the Pi5 8GB skew or an Intel N97 Tiny pc for retro emulation setup. Also, please compare the power usage of each device. Thank you in advance
