Evening walk in Washington DC - The US Capital covers parts of the city including Mount Vernon and China Town neighborhoods. The video was recorded around 4:45 PM local time. Washington DC looks more lively on a weekend compared to weekdays. The US Capital was flooded with troops and police officers during Inauguration Day. As of Saturday, January 23, 2020, many sections of Washington DC are open to both pedestrians and vehicles. Washington DC - the US capital is working its towards normalcy.

When I was your age we had am/fm radio, and 📸 camera's with flashbulbs that you could burn your fingers on if you picked them up to soon after pushing the eject button. I'm really proud of for what you are doing BECAUSE who knows this footage could be used in a history class somewhere. How cool is that.

Thanks for the walks of my hometown of Washington, DC Rob. The whole downtown area has changed so much (in a good way)since I was a kid, and I never go downtown. Looks so new and modern. I'm I'm only minutes drive from downtown; about 1 mile from US Capitol building. :))
