It hit me that even God's commandments aren't him trying to kill the vibe as an unsaved person might see it instead they are an expression of His love for us. He didn't just make us and leave us to figure it out but he gave us practical ways to make living enjoyable for ourselves and others but we just don't listen

If an all-powerful God were evil, things would be a _lot_ worse. Any one of the many pleasures He allows us to enjoy is proof of His grace and goodness

I personally find it *extremely* hard to believe that God is evil, considering that he set things in place for me in my life to save me from committing suicide this year n’ all. God is so good beyond our imagination I swear 🙂

These comments are so inviting and sweet! It’s so nice to see that I’m not the only one who believes the same things and has been saved from depression by Gods grace. I struggle with lust and worldly things but that’s why I NEED god and his love so that when I repent I can learn to be stronger and a better person. Stay strong in Christ everyone!

Notice how when God does "evil, " it's always done in response to actual evil. 🤔

The guy there is holding God to human standards when God isn't human.

Lol if what the guy says is true, then we wouldn't be here, Jesus would have smited us all, when we tortured him and showed how sick in heart we are as humans. Thank God, that He is God, not a human.

I think alot of times us Christians only talk about how God is good and merciful which is true but not much of the times when he has and will punished the wicked or that he will discipline us. So when someone outside Christianity sees God punishing wicked people or disciplining this probably would be the first thought.

Jesus Christ is Worthy. He was and is literally PERFECT. Without God, we wouldn't even have the breath of life. Not only that, but He gave us FREE WILL. I don't think people understand what that means. We have a choice to admit we are fallen and short of moral perfection. All we have to do is admit that and accept Christ paid the penalty. He wants to clothe us in righteousness and bless us beyond all imagination. We can and will be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, all we have to do is have faith.

I have been a Christian for 20 years, but it’s only been recently that I really paid attention to the time between warnings from God and the fruition of those warnings. He truly is patient and gives so many opportunities for His people to do the right thing and avoid those consequences. But too many people seem to only want to focus on God’s wrath.

Hi, I need some help from anyone.

I'm 14 and from England. Recently I've been feeling like a terrible christian. I've fallen into a cycle of porn, lying, swearing, stealing. My parents are devout christians and so are some of my friends. Last week I went to a youth event with around 100 young christians. I can't help but find myself comparing myself to all the others. All of them were praying, getting prophetic word/ pictures/ raising their arms etc. But no matter how hard i tried nothing seemed to happen. I can't help but feel evetines is better/ more loved than me. I've had prayers for heeling before but i can be rt seem to hear god. What am I doing wrong? I'm in a very bad place at the moment and have tried to commit suicide before. I self harm and hate my life - this one tiny bit of faith i have is all i seem to be keeping me going. Help please.

First off, whether He is egotistical or not is irrelevant to whether He is real.

Second off, if He was evil and egotistical, why would He have sent His son to die on the cross?

Third off, you pick a side in this war, I'm pickin' God's side, how about you? You gonna pick the side with the victory or the side that's gonna burn for all eternity in hellfire?

I think we gotta be careful about using the words from Rom. 6:22 "slaves to God" esp up next to being a slave to sin. The original words are likely different, but even if they're not (I'm no scholar), what Christians mean by "slave" in the phrase "slave to sin" is certainly not concerning being a free, joyful, Believer, so using "slave" for both needs to be broken down. Likely lots of non-Christians watch these vids and they need to understand.

"But who prays for Satan? Who in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most, our one fellow and brother who most needed a friend yet had not a single one, the one sinner among us all who had the highest and clearest right to every Christian's daily and nightly prayers, for the plain and unassailable reason that his was the first and greatest need, he being among sinners the supremest?"

One thing we all must understand is that as fallen sinful beings we cannot fully grasp the nature of God, Good and Love. But what we must remember is that God is the personification of Good and Good is the personification of God. God created all his creations Good and with Free Will to love their creator in return. Evil can only come about within his creations by choosing selfish things through Free Will. The battle between Good and Evil is a cosmetic battle, however it's not an equal fight since Evil is Temporal and is duelling a creation whereas Good is Eternal and is the creator. And because of Sin we can only see things in a Temporal sense and not an Eternal one.

Quran? Yes (Surah Al-Baqarah aya 98 (Surah 2:98))
Bible? No (John 3:16)
This fellow right here, as a 16 year old, I had to take my glasses off and slap my forehead so hard my hand went through my head when this guy implicates God is evil.
And oh yeah, those verses don't even sum up a whole entire response, those just appetizers.
I'm not even going to touch this guy with a 39 and a half foot steel pole...

This very video falls into Criterion #8 of Robert J. Lifton’s Eight Criteria for Thought Reform, that being: Dispensing of Existence.
