WoW Glenda, I'm beginning to wonder if there is anything you can't do!!! Your island is spectacular! You are really making your family a custom home to enjoy! As a mom, I am very proud of you! Your manager is secretly learning that any girl can do this if her mommy can. What a perfect gift you are giving her. Enjoy your new kitchen this holiday season. Well done...🌷🎄🌷

I'm just smiling while I'm watching, because my daughter's and I do these kind of projects all the time, and only need the guys from time to time for their muscle! Stay blessed!

It looks great. The overhang would be a good place for a stool for your “manager.”

I’m a grown man, but imma go ask my wife if she’ll pull me across the floor while I’m pulling back tape. Looks more fun than Disney

Wow! You’re so gifted. I love it. No body would say this is just a stock cabinet but a high end and expensive one. Beautiful!!!

I had to watch 5 or 6 videos before I got to yours and I'll just say I'm glad I came across yours. From start to finish it was perfect and I'll be mimicking just about everything you did this weekend lol. The butcher block was a great idea and looks great as well. Thanks.

Hi Glenda!! This was very inspirational and enlightening to see you handle this load all on your own.
Omg! GOD BLESS you and your family! That was just a glimpse of your creativity. Once again....GOD BLESS YOU!!

Glenda, the finished product is simply gorgeous. The black lower finish with that butcher block top and hardware is stunning. It looks like an expensive custom built or purchased piece. And your design and woodworking skills are just as impressive. But of course, it all required a supervisors direction. Thank you for demonstrating and may God continue to bless you and the potentially as talented supervisor :).

Looks good. Next time try a shellac base primer. I learned that from my painter. It creates a hard base that won’t scratch and the cabinet paint will adhere 100% better. Very impressed!

Glenda, your video inspired me. I love your little one. I am a grandma and trying to do a little project at a time. I have hired people to help me, they charged $300, $250, and assistant at $150 per day depending on what they could do.
I bought a house for most parts it needs updating big time and plumbing issues were a big surprise. It is so beautiful the colors you used for the cabinets. Mine is wood tone, yellowish cabinets in 1990s time! Good job Glenda and TY for your video.

This turned out amazing. I am also glad you showed that one person could do it that you don't need help

Thanks for the inspiration girl! We're completely renovating our whole kitchen ourselves. Although my husband does flooring, roofing painting, framing, windows, tiling you name it, he's never put in Cabinets by himself or countertops. Your video totally motivated me so thank you. It's so refreshing to see a woman doing this kind of work all by herself💪 without her husband. So again thank you, and you've gained a new fan! BTW I came here because my love and practicality of the butcher block countertop...it turned out wonderful! 💖
