I have spent all morning trying to update my radio. I downloaded CPS 3.0 to CPS 3.4 and "Can't connect" kept popping up. As soon as I pulled up this video by searching specifically for it I was ready to bust my computer. Hold this button, that button, and turn it on. I have had the radio long enough to forget how to use it. THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO. It is time to rewatch ALL the videos. Keep them coming!!!

Hi, Thank you for this. Detailed and very clear. I downloaded the instructions for the firmware update. Could you confirm something for me? The instructions say you have to do a radio reset after updating. Is this right? Many thanks.

Ok a question. I just updated firmware from 3.03 to 3.06. Now when I use cps 3.06 and try to read the radio I get an error message. I also get an error when I try and update the contact list. My quest is should I have went .0e to .04 then to point .05 then .06. I’ve never had to do that on any radio? N9GI also have an FCC General radio telephone license.

Can the above mentioned radio be updated to the newest ver without incremental update? Need help please.
