I am a developer and I tried to create a Trojan, and the windows defender worked very well by directly putting it into quarantine as I created an exe file of it.
And secondly when I tried to install one from chrome, the download got blocked even though I had set the chrome security to false.
Then I realized that it was windows defender doing that.
BTW I am using windows 11 on latest version.

Seen too many people stop making WD work to install a mod for a game or application then forget to turn it back on and within a half a year their device is clogged with viruses some magical way. Not from the mod or application itself but just using the computer as they were like they do have it enabled. Anyone against using WD are worse than people thinking VPNs have a better ability to be an antivirus software(they can't btw).
