@YoungIvyScholar The counter-initiative is pretty much the old system that was in place in Switzerland - the strictness depends on the crime - but is generally very strict. But it doesn't matter anymore - the automatic deportation law was passed earlier today.

@Fungusjones It is not a failure as long as you don't break the law? I don't understand what the big deal is...if someone commits a serious crime in a country they are not a citizen of -- why shouldn't deportation be used?
