My wife and I have our own accounts but we both have access to each other accounts. To us it is our money equally. For big purchases we both agree to it.

Speaking from a same sex relationship. We pay things proportionate to how much the other is making. So it might be 50/50 if youre making near the same amount, or it might be 30/70 because ultimately we value each other's happiness and want each other to have a little money left over for savings and fun.

To me it depends on who uses what. Electric bill? Maybe split or pay it all. Her salon bill? She paying that one if she got her own money.

You share the responsibility. I know my parents did have threw own acoujts but a shared acount fir utilities mortgage cable before streaming. My mom put in 33% since my step dad made more money. Yet trying to do 59 59 is best to pay basic living needs.

Paying for everything is for single income houses. Depends what each other make. If one makes 40k and the other make 160k then no it’s not an even split. If one makes 75 and the other makes 85 I would say it still and even split. It’s really about works in the end.

Dont move in until you get married or split it down the middle. Dont give her wife treatment unless you gonna wife her. And if thats the case then wife her before you move in together, then its both y'alls money.
