Nice tips, also recommend Samos vin doux made from the local muscat grapes in Samos. This is one of the best dessert wines in the world and has been ordered by numerous US presidents including Clinton.

I always have a glass of Retsina. I consider it part of Greek history.

Excellent intro to Greek wines and also how to pronounce the names! 😂 really needed to know that! Agiorgitiko really seems like the “work horse” so readily available even in neighboring countries! But Xinomavro it would be for me. Curious about malagouzia too! ❤Please do a more deep dive on Greek wines! Please include more big and bold wines. Anything close to Amarone Della valpolicella? Red, Sort of like vin santo but not too sweet. Thank you!

Too bad we weren't aware of those when visiting Greece in 2022. But know there is a reason to go back

Learned to love retsina in the early 80s on the Danforth in Toronto, Canada, aka Greektown back then. Would still be happy to drink it but need to have some great Greek food to go along with it!

Is there a reason you did not mention”Mavrodaphne”? We had a sangria in Renthymno that used Mavrodaphne…. 🇬🇷🇺🇸

Nice to feature Greek Wines, highly underrated

...Riesling "home country" is Germany

...Ajioritiiko, would compare it more with an Rioja or Nero D'Avola, with a full body

Regarding Retsina - you should have mentioned that aside Malamatina there are well cultivated "barique" ones, highly tastefyl, not to compare with the standard bottled ones - and you get Retsina more often than you mentioned

I know this is not related to the video but I watched some of your car rental videos and I was wondering about the overnight parking in Oia when it comes to renting a atv or just a vehicle in general
