Similar experience here! ... i am remote dev, and was so desmotivate, had bad habits, weaking up 10 or 11am in the morning, work like 2 or 3 hours in the day and one of the things that help me a lot to start "doing", was a notepad with day task(not todo list online, just a notepad and pen) and a clear objective. Now, my day is just get up early in the morning(6 or 7am), take a shower, eat breakfeast and sit in my desk and the first thing is take the notepad and write everything i have to do in the day (work and personal tasks), and focus in one clear objective, mine was be an expert on something that i like, and found ios dev was everything i was looking for, and the community is awsome, helps a lot to feels more motivate.
