Man I just want to say thanks for posting this! I had the same misfire but I knew my timing was on but it was still missing. Turns out it was my top carbs butterfly being slightly open. Reset all 3 butter fly linkages and adjusted the the throttle cables and got the throttle cam in the right position and now she runs better than ever and is snappy as all get out!

Any chance of you at some stage doing a video on the servicing of the 30DMH. Oil, Filter, Impeller, gaskets etc. Doesn't look like yours needs a lot done at this stage but when the time comes it was been much appreciated. Cheers James.

Hi, i have a question, when i open my throtle the magneto control lever won't advance i bought both the plastic bits including the spring and lever new old stock.
However i can push it forward with my hand without much force needed. Is there anything else that i may need to look at?, throtle does open al the way btw..
Hope to hear from you, thanks

After the adjustments you made to the carburetor from the manual regarding the air mixture screws, did the engine work properly or did you have to readjust any of the three screws, and if so, which of the three carburetors?

For the pilot screws, I interpret the manual as No. 2 needs to be 3/4 to 1 turn out, not 1+3/4 turns. Not sure whether I’m correct or not, but I noticed you turned No. 2 out 1+3/4 turns.

I want to ask something about the tachometer, where did you connect it to the engine and how? Because I have the same engine and I want to install it.

Hi, I have the same model but with remote controls. My full advance timing aligns perfectly, 100% on point, but fully retard is like 5cm off?? Is that possible or I am checking something incorrectly?
