Can't remember if I mentioned, but Mesen's debugger has an event viewer that will visually show when during screen draw events happen, such as PPU writes. Makes it easier to troubleshoot certain kinds of graphical glitches. The visualization in the debugger shows the screen, and each event is a dot overlaid on the screen you can click on to see what happened at that point.

This is fun to watch, can't wait to see what you do with it. -- FYI, RE: @10:58 -- instead of copying and pasting the data into your code manually after each edit, you coulde use the ".include" directive to just include the assembly file at compile time (it's similar to ".incbin", except it includes the data as code instead of as a binary blob).

Cool video. Keep on making them. Was the same method of flipping the screen and updating columns when player don't see them used for mario and other games? Are there other ways to do it?
