This is the most frustrating modem I've ever owned. Like it'll work fine with no issues then out of nowhere it'll randomly go offline, then come back on working fine, then go offline, then come back on but slower. Then I try to factory reset it and it looks like it's going through the reset process then it just sort of stops and blinks green. Everything is plugged in, everything is tight, service is still active, just frustrating. I've had Wow for 5 years and it rarely ever gave me issues like this.

Wait 15 minutes? It's been five days. Really don't want to go through customer service to fix this but I see I'll have to.

Whenever yellow light keeps blinking, what I do is just reset the whole thing. When you hold the back button where it says “xb7 “ or whatever your model is, hold it for 40 secs then you will have to manually reset the whole thing, even wifi name and password or just keep the same whatever you want. Already happened to me 3 times and that’s what I do every time

My experiences with the orange and green light have been different.

So from my understanding the orange light is a technical issue or maintenance/update that is happening to the modem which is usually takes less or around 15 minutes to go back to normal.

The green light however is more of a technically issue with most likely a issue due to a storm. I speak this from experience on the green light, it literally has stormed the past 3 days and every day there has been a green light atleast once.

This modem gives out good internet speed but it literally slows down randomly almost every month. Good internet for fast download speeds but when u really tryna watch football or something and the wife goes out randomly and comes back slower than ever it’s the most annoying thing to deal with

Probably the most annoying company I’ve been through, it’s fine for awhile then it randomly goes off and there’s either a blinking blue or white light and I try everything to no avail and it’s so annoying..

In my case..held the back button in for over a minute (to be sure). No change to white light until I let go and then it began fast flashing green. Green will do a 15+ minute process of full reset to default password (admin/password) You will need to reconfig your WiFi password etc.

Modem is just pure trash honestly. Randomly disconnects, troubleshooting is garbage, what happened to the modem that you took a pencil or small tip and reset the button? Can we get those back? 😭
