KTXD 47 airs Amber Alert (Child Abduction Emergency) Emergency Alert System alert on 1/19/23.

In the Overnight hours of Thursday, January 18, 2023 to Friday, January 19, 2023, the McKinney Police Department issued a Amber Alert for 2 girls kidnapped by a family member, the alert was first relayed by NOAA weather radio but News Talk 820 AM WBAP (North Texas' Primary Emergency Alert System Station) waited until shorty after 4:30 AM CST to activate the alert on their airwaves (they interrupted Red Eye Radio for the alert) then moments later, their Cumulus Media Sister Station (and secondary Primary Emergency Alert System Station) New Country 96.3 FM KSCS activated the alert they received from WBAP, which then the alert got sent to KTXD 47.1, the local home for Stadium on TV in the Dallas-Fort Worth TV/Radio market. they aired the alert, but they cut it off before the EAS ender could be played, as always.

This is my first Emergency Alert System video in a while and also the first i filmed since i got a new TV for my room on December 31, 2022, the new TV is a TCL Roku TV while the old TV was a JVC TV that has seen better days. also i was still awake, as i have a weird sleeping pattern where i go to bed at the normal time most people wake up, guess you can say i'm nocturnal.
