KTXD 47 airs Amber Alert (Child Abduction Emergency) Emergency Alert System alert on 3/1/20
Показать описание
On the evening of March 1, 2020, a Amber Alert was issued by the Farmers Branch police department for 2 kids were inside a vehicle that was stolen by a random joyrider who stole the car and cause the Amber Alert due to some people choosing to leave kids in a car unattended and waiting to be stolen by car thieves.
The alert was activated by the first primary Emergency Alert System station Newstalk 820 WBAP AM (which i was unable to capture with my phone's camera in time) somewhere between 6:49 to 6:55 PM. a few minutes later the alert was relay to the other primary Emergency Alert System station "New Country 96.3" KSCS (both WBAP & KSCS are sister stations owned by Cumulus Media). Then i managed to capture it airing on KTXD channel 47, the local Stadium network affiliate in the DFW area. i apologize for it being quieter on the KTXD video as i didn't fully bump up the TV's volume for the phone's mic to pick the sound up well. also, KTXD cut the alert off too early, they seem to not know how to properly run the EAS equipment.
WARNING: this video contains the EAS tones, which are valid tones and could get you a FCC fine if you use it on TV or radio broadcast.
This video is for archiving purposes only, i do not own any of this and this is consider used under fair use.
Due to chain letters, spammers, and trolls who start flame wars and call people racial slurs, all comments will be approved by me only.
