Here's the thing, Mihoyo said that Kiana was the very first character that they made when they were just a small company and they said that they love Kiana so much and treated her as their own daughter. And that's why they put her into every game that they've made and she's always the icon for each game. Fly me 2 the moon, Houkai Gakuen/GGZ and Honkai Impact 3rd.
But what about Genshin? The icon's name is Paimon. Well you se, Paimon is the name of a demon in mythology just like the Archons : Morax, Baal and Barbatos. And these Archons also have their other "Human" name, Zhongli, Raiden and Venti. So Paimon's other name is most likely Kaslana or Kiana. But the unknown god looks like HoV Kiana tho? Well it's either Paimon is the Unknown God herself or she's somehow a part of the unknown god just like Kiana to Sirin (Hov).
