Steve Wozniak, Co-founder, Apple

Silicon Valley icon and philanthropist for the past three decades, Steve Wozniak, has helped shape the computing industry with his design of Apple’s first line of products, the Apple I and II computers, and his influence on the popular Macintosh. In 1985, Steve was awarded the National Medal of Technology (the highest honor bestowed upon America’s leading innovators) by the president of the United States for his achievements at Apple Inc.

Steve will share his views on how organisations should tackle disruption; the Apple co-founder states that leaders need to look further ahead, “entire industries are disrupted or shaken, but never right away. It is important to notice the changes early in advance.”

Steve Wozniak is the co-founder of Apple. He is an inventor, electronics engineer, and computer programmer who single-handedly developed the Apple I, the computer that launched Apple. In 2006, Wozniak published his autobiography ”iWoz”.

You can tell just from his quick wit and way of speaking that he’s a complete genius

Let’s be honest. Both Steve needed each other. Without both APPLE would not be where it was today. Jobs had the vision and knew what customers wanted and that showed during his 2nd time back. Woz is Genuinely a kind hearted dude. He wouldn’t have been able to run Apple like jobs did. Jobs got more credit and fame because he was able to handle that. Woz wouldn’t have. Jobs knew that and never fired Woz. Both definitely changed the world for the better. Fortunately it Woz he’s still able to do that.

Great Man and a Good Human...It is irony that people give more value to success, mostly in terms of money and fame. But the fact is it is much much more difficult to be a good human being. Good human beings don't get as much recognition and visibility which successful people get. However, good thing is that these good human beings don't really bother about money, fame, recognition etc... Certainly Steve Wozniak is one such person. Deep respect 🙏🙏

I always feel a little pissed when interviewers spend half the time talking about Jobs, in Woz interviews. Woz is much more interesting than Jobs ever was.

I really believe Wozniak is the original genius behind the personal computer we know today yet he's completely out of the spotlight of it. It's amazing to me.

In all sincerity, Steve is the genius Steve's enemies acknowledge.

I love the honesty about Steve Woz. You should never lie to customers or yourself. Admit if something is not the greatest, and admire if others do it better. Strive to higher standards, always. That is the only way you become the best version of yourself.
Jobs was the visionary and salesman, and Woz was the techie who could make their visions come to life - such a beautiful duo.

it was unbelievably awkward to show him an awkward and exaggerated scene from a pop-corn culture Hollywood movie and ask how he felt. congratulations for that vision...
