Izzy: losses are a part of life

Props to that man for stepping up taking a risk. Not many fighters are willing do that today..

A lot of champions play it safe these days. Izzy atleast tried to move up and go for the 2nd belt immediately with 20 lbs discrepancy. Everyone other than haters respects that. Respect to Jan, class act.

Israel has the heart and soul of a warrior. He is always pushing the limits in his career and doing things most guys are scared to do. Nothing but mass amounts of respect.

He’s still a champion and both men deserve a big round of applause. Good effort both

This interview is for all the “fans” that said “if Izzy loses his star power is done”

Izzy takes a loss like a true legend.. nothing can stop this man.

I don't think Izzy has a depressed bone in his body, never has, never will have...

Good fight to lose. It's not like he got one punch ko'd. And it's certainly not as bad as getting brutalized by Jon Jones. Rather lose to Jan than Bones. Take the humble L and go back to MW and dominate.

Im so glad everybody is so chill about his loss. And impressed with how well isreal took the loss.
Jan is a beast too, so it was a well deserved win.

Costa shouldn’t even be on Twitter commenting on Izzy bc he totally embarrassed himself with the wine then I was sick blah blah. Izzy you still got my fullest support

Jan is just belt different. Izzy showed class, and responsibility. For someone who is so goofy and confident, he has crazy sportsmanship.

Izzy was respectful. But Jan outsmarted him in many ways not to many casual fans saw, mainly because of bias commentary. He checked and defended things extremely well.

Still my favorite fighter. Mad respect, no excuses, just gotta bounce back. This will make him better for the rest of his career. Love the energy. “I’ve lost many times but remain undefeated”
