He needs more size and experience on the ground
If he fought Jon Jones that would not have ended well for him

Don’t worry guys, this is just the Season 2 finale where he gets struck by Azula’s lightning. He’ll come back soon stronger than ever lol

Handled this brilliantly. Wasn't the biggest fan of Adesanya but after this fight I certainly respect him, took a leap didn't pay off no excuses. He didn't even do bad it's just Jan is a very smart fighter.

Love Izzy. Challenging himself, taking risks all part of the journey and development. Losing will have taught him loads and he’ll only come back even more ferocious. Losses and Mistakes are part of success.

All of Commentators were the only losers in this fight.

He’s fighting someone bigger that’s crazy mad respect

Izzy doesn’t have the weight on him to fight at 205, and the reach advantage he usually enjoys at 185 is suddenly a lot less, I’m not sure 205 is for him

Izzy said he was moving up a weight class to show off, and ended up getting shown up. Jan ❤️

The way izzy casually stance changed in a forward motion, inviting jan to take him down.... and he did

This man is a true legend. Survived The Legendary Polish Power for 5 rds and lived to tell the tale looking FRESH as a daisy. It's crazy because he made Jan tired and this is by Blachowicz's own admission when he and Izzy were talking just before Bruce Buffer made the announcement.

He's definitely not ready for Jon Jones yet, give it another 2 years at least...

Lets be honest here, Izzy thought he was gonna win because he was fighting a guy who is 38 years old, with 8 losses to his name who doesn't necessarily have the striking pedigree that he has. That's it. He got wrestled by a guy who was heavier and that changed the game completely. Izzy spent so much energy moving around in rd1 and 2 he couldnt do anything about the wrestling.

both class fighters, jan undoubtedly deserves the champ status (not given in that respect by the commentary team)

Izzy is the man, still legendary..dude is a champ frfr I mean id love to see him and mcgregor get in the octagon, that'd be one entertaining fight but I see Izzy walking away 9-10 times but still would be one hell of a show

He tried to do a Roy Jones, but he's still the best . I didn't realise he moved up weight

Great effort by Izzy, Jan and his team played this fight perfectly. Credit to Jan, and I really don’t see him being dethroned for a while. Hopefully we get to see these two and Aljo/Petr on the same card again!

Great to see how fast these Africans become humble after their rear gets handed to them
