So I was humming this song a couple weeks ago and my friend maggie said quite loudly "YOU KISSED ZOE MURPHY ON HER BROTHER'S BED??? AFTER HE *DIED* !?"

You know what I noticed? When he lies, there’s guitar. When he’s telling the truth, it’s piano. It’s mostly guitar here- but there is slight piano in the background because he’s not lying about what *he’s* noticed about her. He’s just telling her that it’s what Conner said.

Fun fact, before I got into DEH I would listen to this song. I thought it was about a dead guy who had a creepy crush on his sister, and the guy who's singing was the creepy guy's friend trying to let the sister know creepy brother loved her without revealing his friend's true creepy feelings, and in the process, he was falling in love with her as well.
