Aah, jack russells are beautiful loving dogs, they look into your face with such love, they're a devil to train though and very very territorial.

I said I wouldn’t get one again but the love they give with there personality is something else

I found a two and half year old male husky on the internet, he was wild as all hell and powerful, however I walked thousands of kilometres with him over the next eight years and hes now the most majical pleasant smiling quiet well behaved 12 year old, he's extraordinarily peaceful still always keen to walk and sleeps outside under a simple shelter, I think their potential energy is just above most people's understanding and make amazing companions for adventurous active people... They're not going to like backyards and lounges... Treated correctly with consistent and vigorous excercising theres nothing wrong with Huskies, just owners who bite off more than they can chew

We had a siberian husky and he was a good dog. He traveled with us to New York and back and places in between. He was a good family dog.

I love that your reasons for not wanting them is to do with your compatibility with them instead of just calling them too difficult. All dogs are deserving of good homes that fit their needs ❤️

I love my jack russel so much he is just the funniest, most loving little goofball and I wouldnt trade him for anything but I understand why people wouldn’t have them tho, he is a boundless ball of energy. I can throw the ball for ages and he’s still fresh as a daisy

Great information! I would only add that Huskies can do so much more damage than cats ever could. People think it's going to be cute to have a gorgeous cat-like dog, but don't realize they will rip apart cabinets, woodwork, flooring, walls, furniture, and window converings if they become bored. We had acquaintances who were exceptional at training their 2 Huskies but when they had a baby, the house was utterly destroyed.

One of the sweetest smaller dogs i had, was a hand me down Jack Russell, but they are incredibly stubborn and very lively..

They are sweet, loving, charasmatic dogs and they have so much character

I would never recommend one to an inexperienced owner, especially someone without experience with difficult dogs because they can be a damn nightmare

My brother has 2 Caucasian shepherds he got them when he retired and moved to a small holding as guard dogs for his livestock and property and they are excellent at their job. The only people they will let on his land is my brother and his family when I go visit him I have to ring him so he comes and gets me from the gate or the dogs would have me for breakfast.

For all those defending huskies, ask yourself why you never see a dog trainer that has their demo dog be a husky. Reason is because they are notoriously untrainable because they have zero desire to please their handler. That might be all fun and games but the reality is when it comes to a home life or any life, you want a dog that wants to work with you. There's a reason why shepherd breeds are so coveted, they can work as protection dogs but they have 100% desire to please their handlers
