We don't see your head. Quite fitting for the French Revolution. XD

Huh, were they inspired by the Greeks then? Beautiful outfit and it’s giving me definite ideas about making a set of undergarments like those!

There was a heavy emphasis on styles that relate to being virtuous/simple/white, “Greek, ” and less decadent. The wives of artists donated their jewels and stripped down to the simplest whites, all to show their alliance.
They’d do anything to display opposition to the people’s of the republic who wore jewels and layers of the most expensive textiles! Fashion changed drastically during the French Revolution(s)! ✨🖤 great post :) ty!

Love watching Nicole's videos. There is educational and I've learned so much.

Eh close to what they would wear but to them back then this would just be a under dress, and crazy to think they had heels back then nicely designed

Robe ala Francaise would have been more appropriate. This looks like it's from well after the revolution

Very nice! But the music of France in those days tended to be in the excited/violent range - Mozartean sweetness was out.
