English has all cards to be the language of future. It's easy, It's spoken everywhere and the world needs a language that everyone can understand.
3 years ago, I went to switzerland, exactly in Zurigo, I only knew italian. There the main language is german, but everyone was able to speak english. There I understood the importance of english and Its utility, for traveling, work, fun and ecc.So I started learning It, using youtube, books and duolinguo. Thanks to the english I can communicate with people that don't speak my language; english is future because can unify the world.

Makes me wonder when my dialect of Philippine English will be mutually unintellegible with the 'High' English dialects.Well, it is already considered a unique dialect and I'm guessing is around 15% mutually unintellegible.

I disagree million of people don’t speak Spanglish on a daily basic. Not to someone of a different race or ethnicity at least
