Dare to seek contradictory evidence and alternative explanations for events and observations that you and those part of your social circles have long since made emotional commitments to; as well as seeking facts outside of the highly curated cultural bubble you inhabit.
If a model purports to explain everything, it explains nothing.

To everyone in the comments, I understand your concerns. Why do people keep bringing up race? (All that‘ll do is make it worse!) Why divide with labels? Why separate everyone into categories? Why are you making something out of nothing? All of these are valid questions.

If you happen to be open and curious to learn, and I won’t provide a specific article so you can choose, search up “why colorblindness is unhelpful”. Hope that helps!

I was gonna go to college and study engineering, but that turned out to be too difficult. Maybe it’s because I belong to a racial/ethnic/gender group that’s been oppressed historically. Can I get a job here as a social justice activist?

How can so many people perceive reality in such radically different ways? If someone told me that I was being hunted, I might not look into whether it was true or not either. Then again, if I was told that it was millions of people who were hunting me, no way I would believe that without some actual evidence. I would just assume that the person telling me that is just manipulating me for their benefit.

Glad my child was home schooled. This indoctrinating is bad. I don't even know anyone that's racist. I guess it's just in the cities now. Poor kid is brain washed. I hope he turns out ok and lives long.
