2024 Chevy/GMC 13.4' Infotainment Full Tour | Google Built In!

We take a full tour of the 13.4" Infotainment system found in the 2024 Chevy Silverado HD trucks. This system should be the same or very similar to that one found in the 2022+ Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. With Google built in, it adds a ton of functionality over the former systems. It also has wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Over-the-air updates should help keep most functions up to date and GM has starting rolling out 5G to certain 2024 models. For a $56 a month this is outrageous!! The Chevy app is $15 a month after the free 3 years, Ford on the other hand is free for life….. come on Chevy!!

Very informative. I was worried about the buckle to drive as I drive from pile to pile in lumber yards and don't want to buckle up every time I move 12 feet ahead to the next pile. So glad that can be turned off.

I've rented many trucks with all my travels, and the current rental, a new 2024 Sierra 1500 SLT is by far the best truck I've ever driven, and the infotainment system is the best I've ever seen on any vehicle. The google integration is really good as well.

You forgot to mention that if you don't get Google unless you pay for the hotspot. You can use Android Auto but the infotainment system tries to connect to the GM hotspot first, takes about 5 min. to connect to your phone.

I agree. This is insane. Buy a new truck for $70K and the Map and Posted speedlimit display stops working after first month. The bad part those features can come from your phone. We should not need GM data to make that work as that should be able to pull from the phone. I have bought GM since late 70s. I almost bought a Toyota Tundra 1794 this time and wish I did.

Great video! driving a 2-week-old Silverado. The Google Assistant icon was colored on day one, now it's grey. No one knows why... do you?

My 2021 Bose system Rocked, just got into a 2024 and the bose system is not near as loud, am I missing something? Not to mention my usb stick where my songs were numbered and now it puts them in alphabetical order 😢

All nice, One thing I don't understand is why doesn't the 360 Surround Cameras don't come on, until I hook a Trailer? Then they work as they should, Turn Signals and Front Camera. Come On GM, for $70, 000.00 you're cameras should work all the time! Plus "Get rid of the damn Auto Start/Stop and DFM.

Very informative, was hoping you would tell is we could change the small screen to something other than google maps. I never use it and don't like it, all my locations for the last decade are all in apple maps.
