We had a deposit on it, $133.000 OTD. We walked.

Have had my Sierra Denali 1st Edition EV for 3 weeks now.. Really can't complain. Very well executed by GM

Lightning owner here ... I gotta say, I kinda like the look if the front of the Sierra, and like that it has a sensible frunk opening (lookin' at you, Rivian).

With the crazy price of these ev you better off buying a semi truck with a sleeper at least you can live in it and make money 😅

I’ve got a 2023 Lightening XLT, which I absolutely love. Best truck I’ve ever owned. This was a great review. I love the front end. It’s very classy yet “truckey” at the same time. I hope more people recognize how amazing electric trucks are. Mine is so fast, A/C is super cold, quiet ride and smooth ride. Pure joy!

Andre you have had a bunch of nice assignments in the last few months, the information on vehicles that you are reporting and driving is second to none ! Can’t wait for what you are going to bring us next?!,

REALLY big fan of the Sierra EV. Looks great. Really nice interior. Solid powertrain. Solid Range. Solid charging speeds. Overall I agree it's one of the best trucks out right now.

4:22 - Thank you for showing the midgate folding down with the window still in... most reviewers miss this essential feature of the avalanche/gm ev that is amazing for camping, hauling long stuff, etc. completely out of the elements when you have a tonneau

Great video Andre. Many of us like all things that roll on the road, no matter the number of tires or type of propulsion and fuel. Glad you reviewed this GMC.

The big battery GM/Chevy truck is probably the most compelling EV truck on the market right now. For a 'use as a truck' perspective. I still like the R1T as a lifestyle truck however.

This will be a great deal used when they depreciate about $40K in the first 2 years!

GMC is killing it with their new line up, but no way I am buying an EV for $100k.

I think this is the bear looking truck on sale, period.
Great performance, amazing interior. Awesome battery and huge power.
It’s almost perfect. The price is fair for what you get. People need to wake up and realize a gas truck, gmc Denali fully loaded is around $100k probably. The gas truck you need to spend $150 to fill the tank. The EV version probably costs $10 to fill it in your garage / at your house.
So the difference in cost you would make up quickly.

GM has the best looking and most capable EV truck.

A set of 4 Michelin tires will run $2, 311.00 which is more than 1/3rd the cost I paid for my one owner 2008 GMC Sierra. So in 5 years you could buy an entire truck for the cost of 4 round erasers. LMAO!

Every video same complaints: it's too expensive. Just because you can't afford doesn't mean others can't. GM needs profits from expensive vehicles to scale up and build cheaper vehicles. When was new technology not expensive? Flat screens? Cell phones? New tech always costs more.

Sharp looking truck, but jeez, the auto industry needs to get over its fascination with grayscale paint colors! Light Concrete Gray, Dark Battleship Gray, Ash Gray, Old Pavement Gray, Gravel Gray, Bleached Wood Gray. At least Chevy is painting their first edition Silverado EV RST in a bold metallic blue that makes the truck pop. Oh, and the $100k price is just stupid, though I put that down to 1) this thing is loaded with every luxe doodad, and 2) we're still in the early adopter phase of the EV market, so prices should come down as economies of scale and better, cheaper batteries take hold.

1:34 Out of pure curiosity, I just price checked those tires.
577.99 FOR ONE TIRE at a well known tire chain. So basically 600 a tire. THAT'S INSANE. No thanks.

Even today I can buy a full set of 4 tires for most vehicles for the price of one on that truck.

the way that body is set up, it actually gives me some modernized avalanche [late 2k's~mid 2010s] vibes, that was also a unibody design, had the ability to rear half of the cab into more bed space, effectively.. could fold both rear seats down, remove a panel behind them and the back window.. i don't really like how the headlights are placed, but that's me personally with how that nose is designed..
