Hello YouTube, we’re back with a new episode!

We had to take a break as we both faced unexpected health issues. Brett went to Australia, and I had to go to Berlin. Life has a way of teaching you lessons and we definitely learned something from that.

A year ago, we started this château journey, and it’s been full of ups and downs. This year has taught us patience, resilience, and the importance of trusting the process. Some days, things move forward beautifully. other days, life throws surprises our way, and we’ve had to learn to adapt.

But through it all, we’ve loved sharing every step with you. So follow along and be part of the adventure as we continue bringing Château de Londigny back to life!

I'm so glad you are both on the mend. Being sick and being in pain is so terribly hard. My Mum was very ill also over the holidays and we almost lost her. Things have improved greatly for her and she is almost fully recovered. Take your time and heal, enjoy life always, we never know what our last day will be. My mother has Degenerative Disk Disease, 3 spinal haemangiomas and 2 compression fractures that have healed but left her with nerve pain. She was still moving furniture (housework) until age 83. She is now 88 still able to do for herself but no more lifting furniture or heavy bags.

Australia is where you both should be . Best specialists & hospitals. Duty of care is second to nine. France is beautiful but living there especially in rural areas is a nightmare. Medical desserts. Long distances to specialists after long periods of waiting. Skin specialists are a rarity. Heart specialists at least the good ones are hard to get appointments for. General medics are not as they are in Australia. I have a house in the southwest of France & though beautiful is very difficult especially if you need medical care. We all have this romantic idea of living in France but think twice before you make such a huge commitment. We found out the hard way.
