I’m far more impressed by the fact you got $1200 for it than the build itself.

I turned a 2300.00 desk into a palate once. I used a crowbar and I still have some community service hours to complete.

1200 dollars!! You saw him coming. I wouldn't have paid more than 50. Your selling skills are immense.

It's really wonderful to come across people who freely share valuable information online. You never know what kind of knowledge you might stumble upon that could have a lasting impact on your life.

It’s a nice table for sure. But I’m more impressed that you found someone willing to hand over $1200 for it lol. I guess there really is “one” born every minute 😂

The hardest part about this build was finding someone to pay out $1200 for that desk.

as a furniture maker all i can say is "people no longer understand what quality is" you found a sucker when you sold it for that.

This one seriously needs a laugh emoji and not a thumbs up or down. Congrats on getting $1200 out of it, absolutely insane you did.

Making the desk is pretty easy; making a nice one, quickly DOES take some skill and expertise; HOWEVER, the REALLY amazing part of this is finding someone willing to pay $1200 dollars for it!

I am still shocked that someone would pay $1200 for a small desk or any desk for that matter. Nice build though.

Actually quite happy you show how long it takes - I always underestimate my wood work projects, by a lot, and I don't really have a frame of reference 😅

$1200! Mackenzie is a customer you want to keep 😅 Well done Morley - earning that from a pallet is no mean feat.

It’s scary knowing that when walking around Toronto, there may be people I walk past who are financially stable enough to buy a 1.2k desk

This is the cheapest looking $1200 table I've ever seen.

Here's a pro tip for you. Use wire snips to extract nails with no head on them. And staples and stuff. Squeeze hard enough to grab the nail but not too hard to cut the nail. It will work much better than pliers.

I guess it like folk paying a million dollars for a drop of paint on a canvas.
It is a work of art! One of a kind! In a hundred years they will use this video to value it on the Antiques Roadshow.

$1200 😳 I have a nice oversized custom cherry wood desk that I had a carpenter build me and it only cost $750. It has 4 drawers, enclosed on 3 sides, and the tabletop is 4'×3'. I guess things really are worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

This looks amazing and he put a lot of excellent work into it. But is it really worth $1200? I would think no more than $300

As a person who has never built anything other than legos and model cars growing up, this video (in which I stumbled upon), was so amazing for someone like myself that wants to start building this spring/summer - building a couple of toy chest for my little ones.

Awesome video!
